We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Corporate IT Project Manager to oversee and deliver technology initiatives that support our corporate goals. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end IT projects; ranging from infrastructure upgrades to software implementations, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business requirements. The Corporate IT Project Manager will report to the Director of Corporate IT.
Responsible for:
- Plan, execute, and manage multiple IT projects simultaneously, from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, risk assessments, and progress reports.
- Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring KPIs and milestones are met.
- Manage project risks and issues proactively, providing mitigation strategies and solutions.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, executives, and technical teams to provide status updates.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, data security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process and system enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4 years of experience managing IT projects in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems development, and enterprise applications.
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations effectively
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and vendor contracts.
- ITIL Foundation certification is an asset
- Industry certifications in Microsoft Windows administration, Linux, Apple Mac OS and Cisco are desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen effectively.
- Familiarity with project management tools, mainly JIRA.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Calm, organised, patient disposition, and happy to work with other technical users in a respectful environment.
- Excellent communication skills (spoken/written) in English including presentation skills and the ability to adapt to varying technical/business audiences
