Job Description
We are looking for a content developer to help us build out and organize a Confluence site to educate an internal R&D audience in client’s use of a new software delivery model. Candidates should demonstrate strong writing skills, excellent research practices, and the ability to synthesize technical input into well-crafted, easy to understand content. Our ideal candidate must have strong team sensibilities, have solid visual and content design skills, exceptional organizational skills and be able to work with multiple sources and SMEs in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be able to understand and explain processes, best practices, and tools to an internal R&D audience.
Responsibilities:
• Create internally facing content using Confluence as the delivery medium.
• Collaborate with program managers, cross-team representatives, and quality assurance engineers to research, author, and polish content
• Create documentation designs, plans, and schedules
• Use Confluence to design, organize, and author high quality material on schedule.
• Create Web pages and other collateral
Qualifications
Requirements:
• BS/BA in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Ability to organize information, learn complex concepts, and explain concepts and instructions clearly and concisely
• Must be flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Must have solid prior experience in developing Confluence sites
• Knowledge of JIRA is a plus
• Knowledge of engineering processes and tools is a plus
