Position Summary
Supporting the In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) division with a focus on audio and reception hardware systems. The team is responsible for the development and validation of infotainment-related electronic hardware components, not software.
Key Responsibilities
The Test Engineer will support the design validation and development of:
- Audio systems: amplifiers, speakers
- Reception systems: AM/FM/XM antennas
- Peripheral components (limited scope): wireless chargers, USB switches, telematics
This is an end-to-end hardware-focused role, including:
- Developing and reviewing technical requirements for audio and reception components
- Engaging with suppliers for quotations, selection, and compliance reviews
- Performing component validation and testing against defined requirements
- Investigating and resolving issues identified during validation, production, or field feedback
- Preparing and maintaining documentation, test reports, and technical findings
Candidate Profile
- 3–6 years of experience in electrical/electronic testing or validation
- Background in automotive, RF, or electronics systems (automotive preferred, but not mandatory)
- Strong understanding of hardware validation and testing methodologies
- Exposure to supplier interaction and cross-functional collaboration is a plus
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and quick to learn new processes and standards
Additional Information
- This is a Level 2 role with flexibility for candidates who demonstrate strong technical capability
- Requires high on-site presence (~80%), especially during the initial training phase
- Limited travel (1–2 times per year) may be required for technical training
- Training will be provided, and the team values individuals who can quickly adapt to internal processes and standards
