Handyman

We are seeking an experienced, highly detail-oriented handyman to join our dedicated estate management team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior integrity, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of a premier private estates.

The ideal candidate possesses a diverse, high-level technical skillset across multiple trades, displays absolute discretion, and excels in a luxury residential environment where proactive maintenance is paramount. We are seeking a Handyman to provide dependable maintenance and repair services across residential properties. Reporting to and coordinating with the Property Manager, this role will handle general repairs, outdoor maintenance, and preventive upkeep while traveling locally between service locations each day. Work orders will be assigned and tracked through a mobile dispatch system.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance and general repairs in residential properties
• Perform outdoor maintenance and pressure washing
• Handle painting, trim carpentry, drywall patching, high end painting, trim work, plumbing repairs, and electrical repairs
• Install fixtures and maintain equipment
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete assigned work orders
• Maintain clean, safe worksites and perform worksite cleanup
• Coordinate service activities with the Property Manager
• Travel locally between residential service locations
• Use the mobile dispatch system to receive and track tasks
• Monitor and assist with high-end appliance operations and basic smart home/HVAC configurations.
• Vendor Escort & Oversight: Accompany specialized third-party contractors (HVAC, roofing, specialized automation) to ensure work is completed safely and cleanly according to estate standards.
• Emergency Response: Promptly address urgent maintenance issues or weather-related property preparations with efficiency and care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional handyman, property maintenance, or high-end residential construction experience. Experience working on private luxury estates is highly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Broad expertise in carpentry, painting, drywall repair, minor electrical, and basic plumbing.
• Pressure washing experience
• Safety awareness
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting capabilities with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Professional Demeanor: Outstanding communication skills, a service-first attitude, punctuality, and strict adherence to client privacy and confidentiality.
• Physical Demeanor: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and comfortably work in both indoor and outdoor Florida weather environments.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean background check.
