Role Description The Construction Accounting & Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Stuart, FL. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, including managing financial records, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring accurate journal entries in alignment with company policies. The manager monitors project costs, supports budgeting and forecasting, and collaborates with operations leadership to ensure efficient workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation. Daily responsibilities include preparing financial reports for management, analyzing operational and financial data, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations. The role also involves coordinating with field teams, vendors, and franchise leadership to support profitable, well-managed construction and maintenance operations.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting foundation, including experience with Financial Statements and Journal Entries (Accounting).
- Background in Finance and Financial Reporting, with the ability to prepare, review, and interpret financial data.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to assess project performance, costs, and operational efficiency.
- Experience in construction, property maintenance, or related service industries is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfort working with data and reports.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with field teams, leadership, and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
