Our Bread/Pizza and Pasta Makers are responsible for the daily preparation of dough for the bread/pizza and pasta served in our restaurant. A background in bread, pizza, and pasta making is preferred. Applicants should be creative and passionate! If the position is for Alta Via Pizzeria (AVP) pizza dough prep would be focus. If the position is for Alta Via bread and pasta prep would focus.
Required skills and qualifications to be a Bread/Pizza and Pasta Maker with Alta Via Pizzeria:
- 6 months of experience in baking or pasta making OR completion of culinary education.
- For Alta Via Pizzeria experience with pizza is preferred
- Able to follow written recipes and supervisor instructions·
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with others
Physical requirements for Bread/Pizza and Pasta Maker with Alta Via Pizzeria:
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
