Job Summary
Under the guidance of the site administrator and with the collaboration of the classroom teacher, the Elementary Proposition 28 Instructor contributes as an integral member of the educational team. This role involves coordinating and overseeing the operations of the elementary school Proposition 28 instruction by delivering focused instruction in areas outlined in Proposition 28. The Proposition 28 Instructor will be adept at instructing students of varying elementary grade levels in a range of allowable concepts and applications
Requirements / Qualifications
IF HIRED: proof of high school graduation, equivalent, or higher education (i.e. degree) Experience or additional education in the field of art or related field is preferred.
APPLICANTS SHOULD BE AWARE THE DISTRICT MAY CLOSE THIS POSTING AT ANY TIME SHIFT TIME: Tuesdays, 8:30am-3:00pm EDUCATION: Equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade. Additional art education or experience. EXPERIENCE: Recent volunteer or paid experience working with children. Experience leading an enrichment program is desired. IF SELECTED THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED: Fingerprint verification at an approximate cost of $64 to the employee; Proof of TB clearance (within 4 years) at employee’s cost or a “Certificate of Completion” signed by a licensed health care provider for the Adult TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire; Certificate of Completion for the CA Mandated Reporter Training dated after July 1, 2026.
