Responsibilities include:
- Manage and maintain ownership of 16 commercial and government contracts, including FEHBP and Medicaid/Medicare arrangements.
- Negotiate terms and renewals, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and operational needs.
- Collaborate with legal, procurement, and operational stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and implementation readiness.
- Track contract milestone and maintain comprehensive documentation for audits and oversight.

- Familiar with network discount contracting
- Contract Lifecycle Management:
Own and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of 16 pharmacy contracts, including commercial health plans and government programs (FEHBP, Medicare Part D, Medicaid MCOs, etc.). - Negotiation & Strategy:
Lead contract negotiations and renewals. Analyze terms and pricing structures to ensure alignment with organizational goals and evolving regulatory standards. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with legal, procurement, compliance, and clinical operations teams to ensure seamless contract implementation and adherence to all internal and external policies. - Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation to support internal reviews, audits, and regulatory submissions. Track contractual milestones, SLAs, and renewal timelines. - Contract Optimization:
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, improve contract performance, and enhance rebate and discount capture strategies.
Experience:
- 5–8 years in a similar role focused on PBM, pharmacy supply chain, or managed care contracting.
- Deep understanding of rebate structures, formulary strategy, and network discount negotiations.
- Prior exposure to government health programs (e.g., CMS, FEHBP, Medicaid).
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacy benefit design, contracting terminology, and regulatory requirements (CMS, OIG, etc.).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and Excel-based modeling.
