What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial Analyst position at Alt Long Term Care Consulting?
In 2018, Philip Alt, CPA, founded ALTCC (Alt Long Term Care Consulting) to give long-term care providers something they were lacking: hands-on financial guidance from someone who understood their world. Today, ALTCC partners with skilled nursing, assisted living, and senior living communities in Michigan to deliver clear financial reporting, strategic insight, and practical solutions. ALTCC’s work helps leaders make better decisions and keep their focus where it belongs - on providing excellent care.
We’re hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to own and execute key financial work across multiple client accounts. You’ll work directly with our founder and client teams, delivering clean reporting, clear insight, and practical recommendations. This role is for a doer—someone who works independently, stays focused, and gets results.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze and prepare monthly financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset and depreciation schedules
- Complete monthly bank account reconciliations across multiple entities
- Support year-end reporting and audit preparation by compiling accurate financial documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve internal accounting workflows and reporting
- Support reimbursement and operational analysis to help clients improve margins
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis, public accounting, or healthcare finance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general ledger systems
- Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear communicator who can break down financial concepts for non-finance leaders
- Comfortable managing client accounts with minimal oversight
Why ALTCC?
We operate with focus and consistency, value clarity over flash, and expect team members to take full ownership of their work from day one.
- Fully remote with weekly virtual team meetings
- High-impact work that supports better healthcare
- Direct access to leadership and strategy
- Competitive pay, PTO, benefits stipend, and 401(k) match
Final candidates will be required to pass a background check.
