Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate all phases of construction activities
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, preparing estimates, and implementing cost control measures using HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools
- Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project progression
- Monitor construction site activities for safety compliance and adherence to regulations; conduct regular site inspections
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while ensuring contractual obligations are met efficiently
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and project tracking
- Lead project meetings to review progress, resolve issues promptly, and keep all stakeholders informed of milestones and challenges
- Ensure all work aligns with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong understanding of construction regulations and safety protocols
- Proficiency in project management software including Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyBid, Civil 3D or similar tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management strategies
- Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a construction management role while fostering collaboration and accountability
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines
- Construction site experience with a thorough understanding of scheduling coordination and regulatory compliance
- Effective communication skills for clear articulation of project goals, expectations, and updates to diverse stakeholders
- Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), OSHA safety certifications preferred but not required
