Alpine Springs Rehabilitation and Recovery is a drug and alcohol recovery center located in Greenville (Withdrawal Management) and Linesville (Clinically Managed Residential), PA that offers individualized treatment using evidence-based practices to those struggling with addiction to leave our facility with the coping skills and knowledge to live a better, healthier lifestyle. To meet the needs of our clients, our treatment facility is open 24/7.

Position’s Scope

The Housekeeper ensures the cleanliness of the facilities and meets the standards according to Alpine Springs policies and procedures, federal and state laws and regulations, the PA Health Department, DDAP and CARF.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the facility.
• Maintain personal health and hygiene practices when cleaning (e.g. use of gloves and proper hand washing techniques.)
• Report all incidents including potential incidents of abuse or neglect immediately to direct supervisor.
• Observe, respond to and report potential hazards which may result in an accident or injury to a client, staff or others
• Protect client rights and apply the principles of client privacy and confidentiality to all practices
• Meet all standards for the PA health Department, Alpine Springs Linesville, LLC and CARF standards for safety.

• Travel between Greenville and the Linesville location will be required.
• Any duties as assigned dictated by the needs of the business.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school graduate or GED.
• Experience in cleaning is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols and products. 
• Reliable transportation required. 
• Ability to plan, organize and cleaning schedule.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Able to communicate respectfully with clients, staff and visitors.
• Able to maintain professional and appropriate relationships with clients and their families.
• Ability to lift over 40 pounds.
• Able to read, write and follow verbal and written directions in English.

• Proficient computer skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but will train).
• Flexibility (facility is open 24/7).  

Job Type: Part-Time (24 hours per week). 

Pay Range: $13-$17/Hourly; DOE. 

Work Schedule and Location:

• Generally, this position is 3x8 hour shifts, Mon-Fri, between the hours of 8a-4p. Depending on the needs of the business, must be flexible, the facility is open 24/7. 
• This position will be responsible for the housekeeping duties at our Linesville facility location.
