• 2 years Electrical Estimating
• Experience using Accubid Estimating software, preferably Accubid Anywhere
• Experience estimating projects $10M
• Looking for growth and longevity (no guys looking for their "last stop" at end of career)

Nice to Have:

• High-rise estimating experience

Role Overview

The Estimator is responsible for developing accurate cost estimates for small to mid-sized construction projects under the supervision of senior leadership. This role supports project planning, pricing, and execution to ensure projects are completed efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

• Review proposals, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope, labor, and materials required
• Prepare material orders, cost breakdowns, and supporting documentation
• Conduct site visits to evaluate project progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain records
• Develop project plans and define required resources, schedules, and deliverables
• Coordinate and negotiate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to secure competitive pricing
• Collaborate closely with project managers and leadership to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all estimates
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of two years of relevant estimating or construction experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Experience using estimating software such as Accubid preferred
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong understanding of take-off estimating principles and project planning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and customer service mindset
• Ability to pass a background screen
