Responsibilities:

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents, as directed by supervisors and in accordance with individual care plans

• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents

• Possess the ability to make independent decisions and remain calm during emergency situations

• Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public

• Contribute to a supportive team environment and be an example of teamwork and team concept

• Follow oral and written instructions, and possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel

• Display patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm when interacting with residents

• Seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices

• Relate information concerning a resident's condition and complete all other tasks assigned by facility administrators

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant or State Tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state of Ohio
