Responsibilities:
Assist licensed physical therapists with the evaluation, planning, and implementation of patient care plans
Conduct physical therapy interventions, including exercise instruction, gait training, and education on proper body mechanics
Use a variety of techniques, including heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound, as directed by the physical therapist
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment of patients
Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field
Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Ohio
0 years of experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as needed
