What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator / Mechanical Troubleshooter – $22–$30/Hour position at Alpine Paper Box Co?
Alpine Packaging is looking for a mechanically inclined machine operator to learn and operate an Emmeci MC-92 automatic rigid box-making machine.
Our experienced operator will set up and start the machine. The new operator will be responsible for monitoring production, recognizing problems quickly, stopping the machine when necessary, clearing jams, making minor adjustments, and getting the machine back under control with minimal downtime.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of machine-operating experience
- Experience with automated manufacturing, packaging, printing, bindery, converting, folder/gluer, die-cutting, or similar production machinery.
- Forklift, palletizer, or material-handling experience alone does not qualify.
- Strong mechanical ability
- Ability to recognize machine problems quickly and react immediately
- Comfortable troubleshooting, clearing jams, and making minor adjustments
- Able to learn new machinery quickly and keep production running efficiently
Pay: $22–$30 per hour depending on experience, mechanical ability, and how quickly you become proficient on the machine.
