What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packing and Shipping Associate position at Alpine Overhead Doors, Inc.?
We are a leading manufacturer of security overhead door products is currently expanding and seeking candidates for entry level and experienced positions.
This Hands-on position will involve:
- Pulling orders
- Building crates
- Pack and process outgoing orders via company tractor trailer
- Loading and unloading common carrier shipments
- Loading containers and/or customer pickup
- Process and complete daily orders as directed by Scheduling and Office Manger.
- Receive production work orders from scheduling manager
- Pull doors and its components/parts from factory floor.
- Inspect, quality check parts and package off of production/shipping documents.
- Communicate with scheduling manager of completed and ready to ship order status regarding expedited.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to read a tape measure and work cooperatively.
- Ability to work safely in a fast- paced environment producing and fabricating metal assemblies.
- Ability to be at work on time on a daily basis.
- Supportive of change on the shop floor.
- Experienced with operating a forklift
- Bilingual: English and Spanish a plus.
Will train if you do not have experience

Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
