Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall surfaces, ensuring a smooth, professional appearance that meets high-quality standards. Duties
- Smooth and finish drywall surfaces using hand and power tools, including taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing techniques
- Install drywall sheets and related materials such as metal studs, trim carpentry, and stucco components
- Apply caulking and sealants around fixtures, joints, and openings for a clean finish and moisture resistance
- Perform touch-ups and repairs on drywall surfaces to achieve a flawless appearance
- Maintain safety standards on-site by using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in drywall finishing or related construction roles with a strong understanding of finishing techniques
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to drywall installation and finishing
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and project timelines
- Skilled in plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, flooring installation, and other related trades preferred
- Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
