Duties
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical conditions, including range of motion, strength, balance, and functional abilities.
- Develop customized treatment plans based on individual assessments, medical history, and therapy goals.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, modalities, and assistive device training.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies to optimize recovery outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercises, and self-management techniques.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records while maintaining confidentiality.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients.
