Alpine Home Health Services is seeking a dependable and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled physical therapy services to patients in their homes throughout the Placerville area.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Follow the established plan of care.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfers, strengthening, and functional mobility.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding home exercises, fall prevention, and safe mobility.
• Monitor and document the patient’s response to treatment and progress toward goals.
• Communicate changes in the patient’s condition to the supervising Physical Therapist and care team.
• Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation.
• Follow all agency policies, safety standards, and Medicare home health requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Home health experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and travel within the Placerville service area.
