Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Occupational Therapist (PRN) to join our healthcare team, providing flexible, high-quality therapy services across diverse settings. As an essential member of our clinical team, you will deliver personalized occupational therapy interventions to promote patient independence, enhance functional abilities, and support recovery. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practices and compassionate care.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate patients’ functional status and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement targeted occupational therapy programs that address specific needs such as assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, sensory processing, and cognitive skills.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams—including speech therapists, physical therapists, case managers, and medical staff—to coordinate care and optimize patient recovery.
- Assist patients with discharge planning by preparing appropriate recommendations and ensuring smooth transitions across care settings.
- Document clinical interventions accurately using electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining compliance with medical documentation standards.
- Support patients with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders by designing tailored interventions that promote skill development and behavioral improvements.
- Engage in ongoing client communication to educate patients and families about therapy goals, progress, and home exercise programs.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the relevant state or region.
- Demonstrated ability to develop treatment plans based on evidence-based practice principles and client-centered goals.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and interprofessional collaboration.
- Ability to adapt interventions for client's Home , Board and care homes , Assisted livings.

Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per hour
