What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Painter position at Alpine Finish?
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated painter to join our expanding business. You will be responsible for delivering quality prep work, painting services as well as cleanup. We are looking for someone comfortable on ladders up to 40 ft, in machines, and other high places etc. All tools needed will be provided but you must have a reliable form of transportation. We are very flexible but expect work to be done efficiently while retaining quality when on the job site.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Execute precise painting using a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, power tools, and scaffolding.
- Apply specialty coatings such as industrial paint, stucco finishes, masonry sealants, and restoration paints for different surfaces.
- Conduct surface repairs including drywall patching, plastering etc.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to coordinate schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste disposal and storing tools safely.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting etc.
- Strong background in construction site work with familiarity in renovation projects and restoration efforts.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, caulking guns, airless sprayers etc.
- Familiarity with safety protocols on construction sites including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
