What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist / Compounding Pharmacist position at Alpine Apothecary?
Alpine Apothecary is hiring a Part-Time Pharmacist in our Whitefish location. The position will include a mix of retail pharmacy and compounding pharmacy functions as well as learning about natural medication options for our patients. The ideal candidate is someone comfortable with in-depth patient consultations, familiarity with retail pharmacy billing and operation as well as compounding experience or exposure, and supporting the efficient workflow of the pharmacy.
We are willing to train the right person in the compounding portion, but a strong desire to learn and independently seek knowledge is needed. Multi-tasking is an imperative skill for this position. Immunization certification required and full job description available upon request.
Work Environment:
- Independent Pharmacy located in Whitefish, Montana. Work occurs indoors in limited space in close proximity to others. As a small family pharmacy, we require regular and consistent attendance for scheduled shifts. The pharmacists work with and around hazardous materials with the use of a powder containment hood when necessary. There is potential exposure to some hazardous materials; however, personal protective equipment is supplied and is mandatory to wear and utilize.
Schedule:
Friday 9am – 6pm (open to adding additional days for the right fit)
Pay: From $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 9.0 – 28.0 per week
