Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design process for assigned facilities projects from concept through completion.
- Design power distribution, lighting, communication, and other building electrical systems for healthcare, education, and commercial facilities.
- Collaborate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams to produce fully integrated designs.
- Oversee and mentor junior electrical engineering staff throughout design and documentation phases.
- Conduct internal reviews to verify accuracy and quality of project deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute technical expertise to project planning and development.
- Remain hands-on in Revit and AutoCAD to support active design work.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license with eligibility to transfer to Texas if currently licensed in another state.
- 10 years of electrical engineering experience
- Engineering experience in facilities building systems in healthcare, education, or commercial facilities.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience with hands on design work
- Proven track record of leading design teams and delivering complex projects.
- Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines on integrated building system designs.
- Ability to work fully on-site in Bryan, TX.
- Competitive salary range of $125,000 to $190,000 based on experience.
