What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Project Engineer (SE) position at Alpha Structural?
Senior Project Engineer (SE)
Must have at least 10 years of experience in structural engineering design and
fieldwork, including foundations, seismic retrofits, retaining walls, slope
stabilization, timber and steel repairs, and shoring
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Must hold both a California Civil Professional Engineer (PE) license and a
Structural Engineer (SE) license
Must be proficient with structural analysis software such as RISA, EnerCalc,
RAM, etc.
Must have strong knowledge of building codes including CBC, IBC, ACI, AISC,
ASCE, and other applicable codes and standards
Must be comfortable with project management, client communication, and
conducting field visits
Must be comfortable with computers and typing
Must be good at communicating and multitasking
You must have your own transportation and a valid driver’s license
Must be legal to work in the U.S.
Pay range is from $140,000+/year depending on experience
