We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Recruiter to help us drive high-volume hiring efforts, particularly for construction field positions, while also supporting technical and professional recruiting needs across the company.

Position Summary

The Recruiter plays a critical role within the Personnel Department by generating and maintaining a steady pipeline of qualified applicants for Alpha Structural. This position is responsible for maintaining active job postings, promoting open positions, and ensuring recruiting efforts consistently produce high applicant volume and qualified candidates to support operational staffing demands.

This role recruits for a wide range of positions across the company, including:

• Construction Laborers
• Foremen and Field Staff
• Skilled Trades & Technical Positions
• Structural Engineers and Professional Staff
• Administrative and Operations Roles

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and highly motivated with a strong ability to source talent, generate leads, and fill positions quickly.

What You’ll Do High-Volume Recruiting & Lead Generation

• Maintain active job postings across multiple recruiting platforms.
• Generate a consistent flow of applicants through proactive sourcing strategies.
• Recruit using platforms such as Indeed, Craigslist, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, trade schools, and other sourcing channels.
• Build talent pipelines for ongoing and future staffing needs.
• Stay informed on compensation trends, labor market conditions, and recruiting best practices.

Applicant Screening & Hiring Coordination

• Review applications and identify qualified candidates.
• Conduct phone screenings and initial candidate outreach.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and department leaders.
• Move qualified candidates efficiently through the hiring process.
• Maintain regular follow-up communication with applicants.

Recruiting Events & Community Outreach

• Coordinate and attend recruiting events including:
• Job fairs
• College and trade school career events
• Workforce development programs
• Community hiring events
• Represent Alpha Structural professionally in the community.
• Build relationships with trade schools and recruiting partners.

Recruiting Reporting & Administration

• Maintain organized recruiting records and applicant tracking.
• Track recruiting metrics such as:
• Lead sources
• Interviews scheduled
• Time-to-hire
• Hires started
• Prepare recruiting activity reports and staffing updates.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, and talent acquisition.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using online recruiting platforms and sourcing tools.
• Ability to professionally represent the company at recruiting events.
• Bilingual Spanish required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction recruiting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with high-volume hiring.
• Familiarity with recruiting for technical or engineering-related roles is a plus.
