Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for an Environmental Compliance Specialist based in Corona, CA. The Environmental Compliance Specialist will be responsible for profiling of Hazardous Waste into the appropriate Treatment Storage & Disposal Facilities (TSDF's) as well as other receiving facilities that accept Universal Waste, Non-Hazardous Waste etc., while monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to research & review of Safety Data Sheets (SDS's), review of analytical utilized to prepare profiles, prepare computer generated manifests/labels for drivers, assist with the preparation of bids (via Excel), interact with clients, on-site inventory and/or packaging of waste streams at client locations from time to time, and collaborating with other Alpha Team Members, in order to implement environmental best practices.
Qualifications
- Profiling of Hazardous & Non-Hazardous Waste into respective Receiving Facilities (TSDF's etc.)
- Proficiency in Environmental Compliance and Environmental Policy
- Experience in managing Hazardous & Non-Hazardous Waste Streams
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (not mandatory)
- Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Environmental Specialist) are a plus
- Ability to work effectively on-site and collaborate within a team environment
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
