Field Supervisor - Service and Warranty

Job Summary: The Field Supervisor – Service and Warranty supervises and coordinates daily activities of subcontractor repair crews.  The Field Supervisor – Service and Warranty is responsible for an average of 3 repair crews. They are responsible for assigning jobs to crews based on skill level and job size. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assign daily roofing warranty and repair jobs to approved repair subcontractor crews.
• Cultivate relationship with approved crews to ensure high rate of quality crew retention.
• Maintain constant communication with builders providing updates of any and all changes.
• Attend warranty and repair calls with subcontractor and respond to homeowner questions per company policy. 
• Enforce safety regulations by performing regular daily safety inspections of assigned crews.
• Work closely with scheduling department and warehouse to monitor material usage for accuracy (e.g. shingle shortages).
• Perform daily walk-through of assigned subdivisions inspecting for both quality and safety.
• Ensure that jobs are complete and documentation is received.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to communicate and empathize with homeowners during stressful situations.
• Ability to oversee and coordinate a variety of people. 
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Thorough understanding of shingle roofing systems.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma required.
• 5 years of construction experience.
• 3 years of roofing experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus and preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Employees are required to lift a maximum of 80 pounds safely, following proper lifting techniques.  For any items exceeding 80 pounds or items that are awkward, bulky, or difficult to handle, employees must use team lifts or approved mechanical lifting devices.
• Must be able to climb ladder and traverse roof at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in various types of weather.
