Role purposeThe Operations Supervisor (Evangelism & Mobilisation) plays a vital role in managing the delivery of HTB's Sunday Services and related events including Christmas, Easter, HTB Alpha, Connect Groups, Teams, Prayer Ministry training, Workplaced and HTB Focus. This supervisory role will support the Operations Manager (Evangelism & Mobilisation) and work closely with HTB clergy to ensure all operational, logistical and administrative elements required for Sunday Services are well-managed across all six London sites (BR, OS, DW, CG, QG, EC). This role will involve building and maintaining collaborative working relationships with staff, Clergy and the congregation and creating and implementing efficient processes and procedures to ensure execution of department projects, services and events.Key deliverablesThe candidate must be able and willing to work across HTB sites weekly on Sundays to
operationally supervise the running of Sunday services. Evening and weekend work as and when required to deliver events and courses.

Operational Supervision and Support
- Work closely with and support the HTB Operations Manager (Evangelisation & Mobilisation) in delivering operational functions, including legal compliance, GDPR, insurance, financial management, safeguarding and health & safety requirements across the department.
- Provide on the ground operational supervision for Sunday services at Brompton Road and Onslow Square, while overseeing logistics across all six HTB sites. Actively contribute to and attend relevant team meetings to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Develop and implement systems and processes to streamline Sunday services and annual events such as Baptisms, Confirmations, Giving Sunday etc.
- Build collaborative relationships with clergy and team and ensure cooperative approaches to meet the vision.
- Onboard new suppliers, caterers, team and congregation.
- Maintain and update department systems such as project trackers, schedules, day plans and service and events databases.
- Oversee weekly orders and deliveries for all sites, managing relationships with suppliers, caterers and wholesalers.
- Manage the HTB site cafés throughout the year, including income and expenditure tracking and data analysis.
- Support the mobilisation of the wider congregation by creating opportunities for involvement in department activities, services and events.
- Supervise and support coordinators in delivering key projects such as Connect Groups, HTB Focus, HTB Alpha, Big Summer Sunday, and other events.
- Take ownership and execute all operational and logistical elements of events and services delegated to you by the Operations Manager (Evangelisation & Mobilisation).
- Oversee the delivery of Evangelism & Mobilisation initiatives and programmes such as Sunday services, events and projects, ensuring effective logistical planning and supervision.
- Develop and communicate clear project timelines, action plans and status updates.
- Track expenditure, obtain quotes, and ensure all activities remain within the budget set by the HTB Operations Manager (Evangelisation & Mobilisation).
- Manage internal and external venue bookings, hospitality and catering, technical equipment, and other logistical requirements.
- Coordinate the creation and delivery of relevant media, communication and programme content for services and events.
- Facilitate clear and timely communication with clergy and departments across the HTB Group to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Supervise team members and contribute to the delivery of offsite events such as Focus and the Leadership Conference.
- Maintain accurate service and events records using church management systems such as ChurchSuite.
- Collaborate with Operations Coordinators and Managers across departments as needed.
- Report directly to HTB Operations Manager (Evangelism and Mobilisation) providing regular updates and reports on project progress and direct reports.
- Line manage operational team members, including conducting regular appraisals, goal-setting, and providing feedback and development opportunities for at least 3 direct reports .
- Prepare reports and analytics to track and monitor Sunday operations.Core behavioural competencies

- Proven Operation Experience: Proven 2 years experience in operational role.
- Proven Supervisory Experience: Demonstrated experience in line management, including overseeing direct reports, providing guidance, and supporting staff development.
- Passion for Sunday Services and Church events: Deeply committed to operationally supporting, church events, services and ministries.
- Excellent Communicator: Confident and professional in both written and verbal communication; able to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across all levels.
- Strong Organisational Skills: Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage a busy schedule, and remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Effective Problem Solver: Takes a proactive and logical approach to identifying challenges and offering clear, actionable solutions.
