Depending on experience and capability, responsibilities may include:Loading, unloading, transporting, and staging materials, tools, and equipmentDigging trenches, leveling ground, and assisting with excavation and backfillSupporting installation of stormwater, sewer, and water utilitiesCleaning and maintaining jobsites and equipment to eliminate hazardsOperating hand tools and light equipment such as tampers, rollers, and skid loadersFlagging traffic and supporting work-zone safetyCommunicating clearly with crew members to maintain safe and efficient operationsMore experienced laborers may also:Assist with pipe alignment, bedding, and grade checksSupport equipment operators during lifting and placement activitiesWork independently on routine tasks with minimal supervisionThis is hands-on, production-driven work — and your skill directly impacts the success of the project.What It Takes to Be an "A Player" HereWe're not training from zero.
