Skilled HVAC Installation Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Installation Technician with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with residential and commercial HVAC systems, including work on new construction and remodel projects. This role requires the ability to work independently, train and mentor junior installers, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and service residential and commercial HVAC systems, including:
• Boilers
• In-floor heating systems
• Ductless mini-split systems
• Residential split systems
• Design, fabricate, and install duct systems and fittings
• Install copper refrigerant lines and perform clean brazing and soldering
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical specifications
• Train and mentor HVAC installation crew members to enhance team performance
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work completed
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through professional, ethical service
• Adapt to changing project requirements while maintaining quality and deadlines
  

Qualifications / Skills

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC installation experience (preferred)
• Experience with both residential and commercial HVAC systems
• EPA Certification required
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities
• 2–3 years of experience leading an installation crew preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs
• Proficiency in documentation and record keeping
• Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision
