Alpha Inc. is seeking a discreet, observant, and people-savvy Security Officer to support operations for a subsidiary company for our active work site in Kula. This isn’t your typical guard shack post, we’re looking for someone who brings both presence and purpose to the role.
You’ll be the first point of contact for those entering the site, helping us ensure safety, accountability, and professionalism while balancing approachability and discretion. This role is ideal for someone who understands urgency without becoming authoritarian, someone who builds rapport quickly, reads a situation clearly, and acts with finesse.

Site Presence and Monitoring
- Monitor entry and exit of personnel, vendors, and vehicles at the job site
- Establish a secure yet welcoming presence that ensures site integrity
- Identify, de-escalate, and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Build positive relationships with on-site workers, vendors, and visitors
- Ask questions and gather information tactfully without escalating situations
- Be approachable yet authoritative, earning trust through calm confidence
- Assist with enforcing site policies in a non-confrontational manner
- Maintain detailed shift logs and incident reports
- Coordinate with leadership on urgent matters and evolving security needs
- 1 Year of experience in security, site monitoring, or related roles preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with an intuitive sense for reading situations
- Balance of urgency and tact—able to act swiftly without being aggressive
- High level of observance, discretion, and professionalism
- Ability to stay calm and effective in high-pressure or evolving scenarios
- Willingness to work outdoors and adapt to the unique environment of Kula
