What You Will Do
Design and Execute Safety Programs
- Lead the development and implementation of company-wide safety programs and procedures.
- Create strategic training plans for crews and management on OSHA and job-specific protocols.
- Deliver engaging training sessions and presentations tailored to diverse teams.
- Perform field safety inspections and audits across all operational areas.
- Enforce company and regulatory safety standards.
- Serve as the primary safety representative during client and OSHA meetings in the Safety Manager’s absence.
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis.
- Analyze safety performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Maintain safety logs, records, compliance documents, and inventory systems.
- Mentor site supervisors on best practices and compliance.
- Partner with vendors, clients, and agencies to ensure alignment on safety expectations.
- Support a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- 5 years of safety experience, preferably in safety construction or related industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA and related regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and technical writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to coach, lead, and enforce policies professionally and impartially.
- Experience working in Hawaii or remote job site environments.
- Familiarity with safety or construction management platforms.
- Technical certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, CHST) are a plus.
