We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Lactation Consultant
to plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate lactation programs and services.
Key responsibilities include: serving as a resource for staff and patients, providing education and support on breastfeeding, assessing patient needs, and developing evidence-based feeding plans.
Collaborate with healthcare teams, promote best practices, and participate in community outreach and program development.
Qualifications: Current RN license, BLS certification, IBCLC certification preferred, with at least 3 years of experience in Mother/Baby/Nursery settings; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
Skills required: critical thinking, decisiveness, cultural competence, group facilitation, and ability to work independently in stressful environments.
Must stay current through ongoing education and contribute to training and quality improvement initiatives.
