Part Time - Licensed Practical Nurse

Role Overview: This position involves providing direct nursing care to residents and supervising nursing assistants to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily nursing operations, oversee staff performance, and ensure policy adherence.
• Participate in care planning, documentation, medication administration, and resident assessments.
• Coordinate with physicians, handle admissions/discharges, and respond to emergencies.
• Develop staff through training, evaluate work, and promote a safe, sanitary environment.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure proper drug management, and support quality assurance programs.
• Assist in budget planning, supply management, and compliance with safety protocols.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and ensure licensing requirements are met.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills: Must possess an active LPN/LVN license, current CPR certification, and relevant nursing education.

Additional skills include strong communication, leadership, decision-making, and knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and safety procedures.

Physical & Work Environment: Requires mobility, strength to lift at least 25 pounds, and the ability to handle stressful situations. The environment involves interaction with residents, staff, visitors, and exposure to infectious materials, chemicals, and potential hazards.
