Job Summary: Performs all echocardiography lab exams, providing quality patient care with ultrasound equipment. Assists with clinical rotations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, participating in after-hours and on-call services.

- Conducts various echocardiography modalities (2-D, M-Mode, Doppler, color flow Doppler) and assists physicians with TEE procedures, ensuring exams follow protocols and accurately identify normal and abnormal findings.
- Reviews images and documentation for completeness and quality, rotating across multiple lab locations as scheduled, and participates in workflow management and scheduling.
- Operates ultrasound and physiological testing equipment, maintains logs, cleans work areas, and reports technical issues.
- Attends staff meetings and educational events, staying current with field advancements and contributing to departmental discussions.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Associate degree from a radiology or sonography program; or five years of dedicated cardiac ultrasound experience.
- One year of echocardiography experience or clinical rotations in a formal program.
- ARDMS-RDCS or CCI(RCS) certification.
- Knowledge of vascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and proficiency with computer systems and medical terminology.
