Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Lead Glazier role based in Conyers, GA. The Glazier will install, repair, and replace glass for commercial and residential projects, including storefronts, windows, doors, mirrors, and custom glass enclosures. Daily tasks include measuring and cutting glass, setting and securing glass in frames, sealing and weatherproofing installations, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. The role also involves loading and unloading materials, operating hand and power tools, reading and interpreting work orders and blueprints, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule. The Glazier will interact with customers on job sites, maintaining a professional demeanor and supporting a high level of service.
Qualifications
- 5 yearz of commercial glazing experience
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Experience with storefront, curtain wall, interior glass, and commercial projects.
- Valid driver's license
- Strong work ethic and leadership skills
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
Repsonsibilities
- Lead commercial glazing installations
- Install storefront, curtain wall, doors, hardware, mirrors and glass systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Coordinate with project managers and general contractors
- Ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule
- Train and mentor apprentices and helpers
- Maintain a clean and professional job site
