Role Description This full-time, on-site Commercial Glazier Helper/Shop Helper (Entry Level) role is based in Conyers, GA. The role supports glaziers with loading, unloading, and transporting glass, hardware, and tools to job sites, and assists in the installation of windows, doors, storefronts, and mirrors under supervision. Daily tasks include measuring and cutting materials, preparing work surfaces, cleaning and organizing the shop, and maintaining equipment and vehicles. The helper may assist with basic repairs, handle materials safely, and follow all safety protocols and instructions from lead glaziers. The position involves regular lifting, working indoors and outdoors, and collaborating with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge or interest in Window and Glazing work, with a willingness to learn commercial and residential glass installation.
- Ability to assist with Doors installation and hardware handling, including framing, alignment, and secure fitting.
- Strong Customer Service skills, including professional communication and respectful interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely; comfort with measuring, cutting, and handling heavy materials.
- Reliable transportation to Conyers, GA; consistent punctuality and dependability.
- Capacity to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working from ladders or scaffolding.
- Commitment to safety practices and following company policies and instructions from supervisors.
