We are seeking a reliable and personable Dental Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is highly organized.
Position Details:
- Part-time position-28-32hrs
- Expected start: within 1–2 weeks

Required / Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a dental office and knowledge of dental terminology (preferred)
- Familiarity with Open Dental, Eagle soft, Weave (or similar), and Patient Express is a plus
- Comfortable handling payments using merchant devices
- Basic understanding of dental terminology and office workflows (preferred)
- Verify insurances and plan benefits.
Core Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage text communications
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Send reminders and follow up with patients regarding upcoming visits
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate records
- Collect payments and process transactions
- Assist with patient check-out, including providing prescriptions when applicable
- Coordinate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment
- Verify insurances and plan benefits.
