Mobile Application Developer

We are looking for a skilled Mobile Integration Engineer with strong native iOS and Android expertise to support integration, debugging, and validation of the QR mobile application with In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems. The role involves hands-on testing, Wi-Fi–based app pairing, content verification, and end-to-end integration with OEM racks in an aviation environment.

• Conduct debugging and integration testing for modules and components developed by the QR engineering team.
• Manage and validate QR app pairing with IFE systems over onboard Wi-Fi, including QR-code–initiated session flows.
• Perform IFE control feature testing, such as media playback, navigation, seat-screen control, and component-level access.
• Validate content publishing, synchronization, and access through the designated Content Service Provider (CSP).
• Run end-to-end integration testing with OEM racks, ensuring compatibility across hardware, firmware, and application layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, mobile dev, OEM vendors, CSP) to identify issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive resolutions.
• Prepare detailed test reports, defect logs, and integration findings for engineering stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of test scenarios, automation opportunities, and integration workflows.

• Strong hands-on experience in native iOS and Android development.
• Proficiency in Android (Java) and integration using REST APIs.
• Familiarity with onboard Wi-Fi connectivity, wireless device pairing, and network-level debugging.
• Experience troubleshooting complex integrations involving mobile apps, hardware systems, APIs, and network components.
• Ability to analyse logs, identify integration failures, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Good understanding of mobile app lifecycle, performance considerations, and device–system interactions.

• Exposure to In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) or aviation-related systems.
• Experience with OEM hardware, rack-level testing, or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi protocols, captive portals, or device provisioning workflows.
• Understanding of CI/CD, mobile test automation, or tools like Charles Proxy, Postman, or Wireshark.
