Research Associate – Formulation Scientist (Contract)
Lexington, MA
6-month contract (possible extension)
We are looking for a hands-on Formulation Scientist to support the development of injectable formulations for peptides, proteins, and biologics in a fast-paced R&D environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare injectable/parenteral formulations for in vitro and in vivo (animal) studies
- Select buffers, excipients, and surfactants; perform stability and biophysical characterization
- Document experiments and results using Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance early development programs
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab instrumentation
Must-Have Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with injectable/parenteral formulations
- Experience with protein and peptide formulations
- Supported in vivo / preclinical studies
- Knowledge of formulation components: buffers, excipients, surfactants
- Experience in stability and biophysical characterization
- Proficiency in ELN and scientific documentation
- Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills
