Job Summary
Ensure the logistics supply of the company in all the countries of operation of the Airline by sending instructions and documents to customs agencies, Cargo Operator or in direct operation; in order to carry out the import, export and logistics processes in accordance with the Customs Legislation in force at origin and destination.
Responsabilidades Principales
What you’ll do
1. Send or execute export and import instructions to (customs agents, cargo agents and/or direct operations) according to the country of origin and destination country, ensuring that they have instructions to prepare the import and/or export declaration; in order to guarantee the delivery of the merchandise and compliance with customs legislation.
2. Quote and execute the provision of domestic and international logistics services for Oversized or delicate cargo
3.Negotiate air, land, Customs rates with Freight Forward providers or Customs Agent for North America
4.Support and manage new projects
5.Control the licenses that are requested from the country of destination so that they can be dispatched (chemicals, aluminum, mercury, textiles, etc.)
6.Make analyzes and present reports of the data of the import or export or logistics indicators or projects depending on where the analyst is focused.
7.Coordinate the payments of the providers that the area uses in order not to pay after the established time
8.Administrative functions that the area requests
Basic qualifications
- Proficiency in logistics operations and supply chain management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations and freight forwarding.
- Experience in materials handling, packaging, and fleet management.
