Founding Engineer | San Francisco (Onsite)
Salary: $160,000 – $225,000
We’re looking for a Founding Engineer to help take a hypergrowth startup from early pilots to full enterprise deployments, scaling tens of millions in automated orders per month. This is a hands-on role for builders who thrive on high-impact, technically challenging projects.
What You’ll Do
- Ship high-quality code and own end-to-end projects, including LLM orchestration pipelines, real-time ERP integrations, workflow automation, and user-facing tools
- Work onsite with customers (warehouses, offices, factories) to understand workflows and build empathy-driven solutions
- Design and optimize scalable ML and AI systems for production
- Shape technical strategy and infrastructure for a startup transforming the $9T global food supply chain

About You
- 2–5 years’ experience in hypergrowth startups (Seed to Series B)
- Experience building production-grade AI agents and workflow systems
- Proficiency in Python, data science libraries, and Next.js for frontend
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and GPU optimization
- Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Bonus: previous founder experience or exceptional extracurricular achievements
