Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants, Personal Care Assistants, or Caregivers to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals
- Support medication administration following proper protocols and HIPAA privacy regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary plans and assist with meal consumption as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light cleaning duties to promote hygiene and comfort
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s
to ensure safe transfers and mobility support - Document care activities and update care plans regularly to reflect each individual’s evolving needs
Skills
- Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and patient monitoring procedures
- Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
- Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently; certifications preferred but not required upon hire
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and assisting residents with mobility; experience using lifts such as Hoyer lift is a plus
