Men’s Soccer Assistant Coach
Position Description:
Performs coaching and promotional functions, including fundraising, for the ACC men’s soccer team.
Reports To:
Men’s Soccer Head Coach and Athletic Director
Position Status:
Temporary Part-time, Exempt, Paid by Stipend, subject to annual review and appointment. Practice begins in August; season runs August to October. Recruitment and other related activities may extend beyond the season.

Position Responsibilities:

- Provide assistance in the direction and coordination of the softball program in the planning, organizing, and coaching of the men’s soccer program.
- Assist with recruitment of team members.
- Assist head coach with equipment maintenance and storage at the completion of the coaching season.
- Must be willing to work outside of normal hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with College, conference, and NJCAA policies and regulations.
- Support the academic, athletic, and personal development of the student athletes.
- Follow all ACC and Athletic Department policies and procedures.
- Assist head coach with conducting daily practices (practice schedule varies from early morning to evening).
- Travel with team to all games and tournaments.
- Plan, schedule and coordinate pre-season conditioning program.
- Provide other program services as directed by the Men’s Soccer Head Coach and Athletic Director.
