Title: Tech 2, Mechanical Engineering Duration: 12 months Contract (Possibility of extension or conversion)Location: Brea, CA 92821 Shift Hours: 7-3:30 PM (Monday – Friday)Duties and Responsibilities:Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering document, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams and schematics).Prepares reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis.Provides completion of technical tasks.Helps scope equipment for use and complete qualificationsWorks with team to on general lab functions; including calibration, implementation of safety procedures, and routine equipment maintenance.Helps develop prototype processes and test set-upsExecutes designed test protocol and conducts testing.Effectively documents and communicates test resultsHandles test samples and chemicals used for conditioning and testing.Minimum Requirement: Minimum education requirement is high school diploma, experience in a lab environment (corporate or school) or technician experience in a regulated environment for a minimum of 6 years, experience following written procedures and working collaboratively with a team.
