About the role:
Our client, a leading name in the poultry and rendering space, on Permanent Fulltime basis they are looking for a Maintenance Manager to run maintenance and reliability for its rendering plant. You’ll lead the team, keep critical equipment running, and partner with Operations, Engineering, Safety, and Environmental to hit production, safety, and cost targets.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and develop maintenance supervisors, mechanics, technicians, and contractors
- Build and improve preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
- Run root cause investigations and drive equipment uptime and reliability
- Own the maintenance budget and control spend
- Manage capital projects and major equipment installations
- Enforce safety and compliance: OSHA, LOTO, confined space, hot work, and environmental requirements
- Track KPIs such as equipment availability, downtime, PM completion, and maintenance cost
- Stay available for plant emergencies (24/7 accountability for critical assets)
What we’re looking for
Required
- 7-10 years of industrial maintenance experience
- 3-5 years in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role
- Experience managing maintenance teams, contractors, and programs
- Experience managing maintenance budgets
Preferred:
Experience in rendering, poultry processing, food or feed manufacturing, or similar industrial environments
Working knowledge of CMMS, reliability-centered maintenance, and predictive maintenance tools
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Maintenance Management (equivalent experience considered)
Salary : $123 - $160
