Job Title: Systems Engineer I

Location: Elgin, IL

Schedule: Mon–Fri | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Duration: 6 Months Contract (Possible Extension)

Job Description:

• We are looking for a motivated Systems Engineer I with 1–3 years of experience or strong internship/project experience.
• Great opportunity for entry-level candidates and new grads.

Responsibilities:

• Support system design, staging, and configuration of networks, servers, and computers
• Assist with customer demonstrations and technical support
• Upgrade and improve existing systems
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
• Work closely with internal teams and customers

Required skills:

• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, Ethernet
• VMware / Virtual Machines
• UNIX / Linux
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies

Preferred:

• CCNA / Network certifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Networking, Cyber Security, EE, CE, or related field.
