Position Overview
We are seeking qualified Lab Technicians to support laboratory testing, complaint investigations, and quality assurance activities within a regulated medical device environment.
The ideal candidate will have laboratory experience, knowledge of quality systems, and the ability to perform testing and documentation in accordance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform product testing in the Complaint Laboratory.
• Provide technical support to Quality Engineering teams in resolving quality issues and complaint investigations.
• Create and maintain investigation files using TrackWise.
• Safely operate, maintain, and utilize laboratory equipment and testing instruments.
• Perform laboratory testing in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Maintain accurate test data, analyze results, and assist in drawing conclusions.
• Support compliance with FDA guidelines, ISO standards, OSHA requirements, and Quality Systems Regulations (QSR).
• Collaborate with manufacturing facilities, suppliers, and Product Legal Manufacturer (PLM) groups.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with departmental procedures.
Required Qualifications
• 1–3 years of experience in a regulated industry, including relevant internship or co-op experience.
• Prior laboratory experience and knowledge of laboratory bench methods.
• Understanding of laboratory instrumentation and associated testing equipment.
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, FDA guidelines, ISO standards, and quality systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
• Technical or Associate degree in a science-related field.
• ASQ certification, such as CQE, CQA, or CQM.
