Forklift Operator

**Work Schedule

**: Monday-Friday-2:30pm to 10:30pm 2nd shift

**Pay Rate

**:

$18.00/hour $1.25/hour shift differential = $19.25/hour

**Requirements

**

• Previous forklift experience is required.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Steel-toe shoes are required.

• 10-panel drug screen is required.

• Background check must be successfully completed before starting the assignment.

**Job Responsibilities

**

• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods throughout the warehouse.

• Perform material handling, inventory movement, and logistics-related tasks.

• Maintain records as needed.

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety policies, and quality guidelines.

• Complete routine warehouse tasks under general to limited supervision.

• Work in a metrics-driven environment while meeting productivity and quality expectations.

**Qualifications

**

• 0–1 year of warehouse or related experience preferred.

• Basic knowledge of material handling, warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing.

• Ability to obtain and maintain any required certifications or training.

• Basic computer skills.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

**Physical Requirements

**

• Regular walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working around moving mechanical equipment.

• Warehouse environment can be hot during summer (no air conditioning) and cold during winter (limited heating).

• Moderate to loud noise levels are expected
