Established family service concentrating on uncontested divorce, mediation and guardianship requires a dependable and reliable assistant for general office duties, paralegal, and scheduling tasks.
Duties include, but not limited to, preparing cases for filing with court, preparing letters and basic legal forms, maintaining online calendar, scheduling appointments, answering telephone calls and providing excellent customer service, mailing, filing, scanning, copying, sorting mail, filing documents at court, and assisting with other clerical duties as needed. Opportunity to perform work in capacity of legal process server at higher pay.
Position: General Office
Nature of Business: Divorce and Mediation Services
Location: Kapolei, Oahu
Pay: $16-20/hour
Start: Immediately
Weekly Hours: 10-19 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible schedule TBD
This is a 1099 subcontract position
Minimum Requirements:
-Strong work ethic
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills a must
-Excellent attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality and client confidentiality a must
- High School Diploma or equivalent (higher education desireable)
- Associates Degree or completion of 2-years of undergraduate course work preferred
- Office or administrative assistant experience a must
- Law office or legal work experience preferred, divorce experience highly desirable
- Proficient in using office computers, operating program and software, tablets, and online office management systems
